Change Request Policy

  • Please email any change of date requests to info@stanleyrv.com. We aim to respond with a confirmation email of your change request within 24 hours (usually much sooner if we are in-season).

  • If you book new dates yourself online, then request us to cancel your original reservation our cancellation fee of 10% will still apply to the cancelled reservation. However, if you email us to change your dates, no fee will apply. See below for exceptions and clarifications:

    • Changing dates to a different time of the year with the same number of days as the original reservation: No Fee
(*you may still incur a balance owed as we do have different pricing for weekends, holidays, and shoulder seasons.)

    • If adding one or more days to your already booked reservation: No Fee (*except for additional nightly stay-fees as applicable)

    • If removing day(s) from your booked reservation: 10% Fee (*calculated only to those days cancelled)

  • Date changes can only be applied 7 days or more before the date of arrival with no fee. Any removal of days from your reservation within 7 days of the date of your arrival our cancellation policy will apply to those removed days.

Cancellation Policy

  • Customers can cancel their reservations online. In your confirmation email there is an active link to complete your registration with us. Click the button and follow signup instructions. Or email us at info@stanleyrv.com. Your reservation is not cancelled until you receive our cancellation confirmation email.

  • 7 days or more before date of arrival: 90% Refund

  • 6 to 3 days before date of arrival: 50% Refund

  • 2 days or less before date of arrival (including if you must shorten your stay): No Refund with rebooking option*

    • *If we can rebook the site, a 50% refund will be provided to you for those days we rebook the site provided that your “site type” (e.g. 30amp Back-In; 50amp Pull-Thru, etc.) is 100% occupied; meaning, we needed your cancelled site to get to 100% occupancy for that “site type”.

Stanley rv + camp does not provide refunds for weather, smoke, fires, bugs, road closures or any other act of nature. Refunds will be provided if the campground is evacuated due to local fire activity. We do not refund for wifi or cell phone issues. (please see our FAQ page for more details on these items)

In the event that you must cancel with less than the 7 days’ notice before your date of arrival, shorten your stay, or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. Stanley is a remote location that is difficult for most travelers to get to with short notice. This is why we and most businesses in Stanley offer similar cancellation policies protecting our businesses from short-notice cancellations.

Cancellations are the responsibility of the guest. If leaving a voice mail or sending an email, please be aware that the cancellation will not be guaranteed unless you have received a cancellation email confirmation. If you have not received this cancellation email confirmation after 24 hours of your notification to us, please reach-out again to guarantee your cancellation.

Stanley RV reserves the right to cancel a reservation for any unforeseen reason. In the event a reservation cancellation on the part of Stanley RV is deemed necessary, we will reschedule at guest’s request based on availability, or cancel and refund your reservation in full.

Stanley RV reserves the right to change our cancellation policy as we see fit. For example, in the event that a group of 4 or more RVs chooses to book with us, we may reach our requiring the acceptance of up to a 30 day cancellation policy. This may be put in-effect to protect our campground from multiple reservations being cancelled covering the same booking days with little notice. A cancellation of this level could negatively affect Stanley rv + camp so greatly, that we are unable to continue business into the future. Please understand, if we make this requirement for your group, we do so only to protect our ability to stay in business due to a large group cancellation.

Transferring a Reservation to Another Person

Yes, you can transfer your reservation to someone else, however this is not guaranteed as we need to verify that their RV will fit in the reserved site.

The person who made the reservation will need to reach out to us via email (info@stanleyrv.com) at least 7 days before the date of arrival. We will need contact information for the person that will be taking over the reservation so we can reach out to them. We will update the reservation to the new customer and verify that their RV will fit in the reserved site. Failure to contact Stanley RV to inform us of transferring the reservation may result in Stanley RV not being able to accommodate the new customer.

Subleasing RV sites

Stanley RV and Camp does not permit the renting out or subleasing of rv sites for commercial gain.

Group Policy

We’re sorry, but we do not offer the blocking-out of sites for large group reservations. If you are interested in reserving the entire campground, please contact us directly to discuss rates and availability (only offered in early-June and late-September)

Stanley rv + camp is a smaller campground and does not offer group spaces for use or rent, and to protect the experience of other guests we request that no more than 10 guests gather at any one RV site. We highly recommend groups look to the Forest Service group campgrounds for accommodations as we are not set up to host groups over 10 people.

Events

No events or parties are allowed at Stanley RV. We do not allow weddings or receptions. Stanley RV is a small campground and we do NOT have a designated group space. We have a max of 10 people gathering at 1 site at a time.

No-Show Policy

Reserved sites will be held for your occupancy until 11am the day after you are scheduled to arrive. If you have not arrived by that time or communicated with Stanley RV about your arrival plans, guest will be responsible for the full amount of the stay with no refund given and your site may become available for booking by another guest.

Good Neighbor Policy

  • Quiet hours: 10PM - 7AM (Sun-Th) ; 11PM - 7AM (Fri & Sat)

  • Loud, amplified music is not permitted at any time. Please keep music to a level that your guests around you do not have to listen to it as well.

  • No generators used within the park without manager approval.

  • If your name is on the site reservation, then you are responsible for your guests and their behavior as well as their pets.

Please be courteous to other guests around you. Loud, objectionable noise is not allowed at any time. Profanity or violence will not be tolerated. Inconsiderate guests will be asked to leave.
Please no washing of vehicles or RVs. We have a very rocky ground here at camp, and excessive water tends to flood the rv site(s) next to yours. Please no excessive water use at your site that drains to the ground.

Wifi (limited)

We offer complementary wifi at all our sites. However, please be aware that due to the remote nature of our campground the wifi can be spotty/ slow and is intended for research and personal use, NOT for streaming or downloading large files. Video chat is also discouraged as it uses up the bandwidth from guests just wanting to check email and trail maps. We do not refund for spotty/ slow wifi.

We’re in the middle of nowhere, no streaming please.

“Site Selection” (aka “site lock”)?

Every reservation is guaranteed once payment is received and our email confirmation is sent out. The “Site Selection” fee is an additional option a guest pays to select a specific site in the campground. We provide pictures and list amenities for every site on our RV Sites page.

Video on site selection: https://youtu.be/0IQJNhdgQag

If you chose not to pay the "Site Selection" fee then the campground reserves the right to choose a site for you. You will always be in the same site type (Van/Truck Camper, 30amp Back-In, 50amp Back-In). Again, your reservation is guaranteed…this fee simply applies to whether or not you want to choose a specific site for your stay.

Please note:

  • Site Selection is not available for our Pull-Thru site because we only have one pull-thru site; so there is no selection to be made other than as a “site type”.

  • If no option is given when booking a standard 30amp or 50amp site, then all other sites are currently booked for your dates and no other site is available to “select”.
